Neverlur

The neverlur can usually be found hanging on the wall in every summer farm in Norway. The instrument is powerful and it is tuned in the naturetone/overtone-series

The lur consists of two hollowed-out halves of pine or spruce that are glued together, shaped, and lashed with birch bark. The mouthpiece is similar to a trumpet mouthpiece.

 

The neverlur can be made in all keys. The lur can be ordered as a one piece lur, or dividable into several pieces.
